BBC's Nick Robinson faces backlash after sneering remark about GB News

Asked if it was his expectation that Russia will use chemical weapons, the premier said: ‘I just note that that is what they are already doing [preparing a fake story].
It is a cynical, barbaric government I am afraid.’

In a video message to the besieged nation, Zelensky accused the Kremlin of attempting to seize the capital, overthrow the government and install a ‘puppet’ regime ‘like in Donetsk’, one of two separatist regions which warmonger Vladimir Putin officially recognised before launching an all-out invasion. 

One critic has even set up a Twitter site called ‘The Lies of Big Jet TV’, where the unnamed troll insists his excitable commentary of landings in storms suggest he ‘almost wants a crash to happen’, adding: ‘This is not an aviation streamer, he is an ambulance chaser’.

Colin Brazier, another GB News presenter, responded to the comment on Twitter, saying: ‘Every one of our viewers and, increasingly, listeners – is there because we’ve earned their interest, loyalty and custom. Our wages are paid, not by a broadcasting poll tax, but through the exercise of choice. Every sneer will cost you dear.’

This constant pain has put Ms Stout’s life on a stand-still since infancy, as she cannot do the average things that most people her age do as part of their day-to-day routines, such as getting the subway to work or to sit for hours in an office, as sitting for long periods of time causes her unbearable pain.

‘So, what matters beyond the outrage of the fact that this has happened in the first place is to make sure all this is catalogued so when – and they surely will be – President Putin and everybody in the military chain of command beneath him – because war crimes are committed at every level not just the ultimate decisionmaker – people will be held to account for what they are doing in. It’s utterly despicable.’

Mr Robinson was interviewing Jerry Dyer, the founder and host of Big Jet TV, an online channel which provides live coverage of planes landing at airports, on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme on Saturday morning when he made the comment.
