Keep in mind that only Fox and NBC offer 4K NFL broadcasts; CBS and ESPN do not.  We also like YouTube TV because it gives you an option to stream in 4K for an extra $20 a month. While all three are largely similar, we like YouTube TV for its superior DVR — unlimited storage compared with 30 hours on FuboTV and 50 hours on Hulu.

With it, you’ll be able to watch every local game on Sunday and the national games on Sunday, Monday and Thursday nights as well as the playoffs and Super Bowl — again, only on your phone or tablet. In past years, you could do this for free with the Yahoo Sports app, but now you’ll need to pay $5 a month or $40 for the season for the NFL Plus app. The NFL is launching a new streaming service for watching games on your phone or tablet — no casting to your TV. Wait, there’s one more streaming service to consider this year.

It’s important to note that while I researched Tesla’s Solar Roof to the best of my ability, I did not test it in any hands-on or empirical way. Solar products are difficult to review in the traditional sense. Whenever possible, get multiple quotes from multiple installers, including those local to your area.

The next best options are FuboTV and Hulu Plus Live TV; both offer the same channels as YouTube TV for NFL fans, but for $70 a month. At $65 per month each, YouTube TV checks all the NFL boxes. Local channels CBS, NBC and Fox are included in many markets, and ESPN and the NFL Network are also included so you can watch Sundays and Monday nights.

This compares favorably with many manufacturer warranties on solar panels. Tesla Solar Roof comes with a 25-year warranty against defects in the shingles and a 25-year warranty against your Solar Roof leaking. It’s also protected by a production warranty: Your Solar Roof will produce at 95% of its rated power after five years and 85% after 25 years.

Tesla’s Solar Roof is the least visibly obvious among the widely available solar options. In pictures the roofs look sleek and a bit shiny, so while they look mostly like any old roof, there are differences. Their solar shingles look less like a regular roof than Tesla’s. Other companies have rolled out their own solar shingle products, notably GAF Energy earlier this year. While GAF prices aren’t public, in January a spokesperson said the cost would be about half of Tesla’s Solar Roof.

It’s also where you’ll request and schedule service, should you need it. You can schedule when you draw energy from your Powerwall, set how much back up energy it stores and fill it up before a storm. From Tesla’s slick-looking app, you can monitor your energy production and usage. It has a 4-star rating on Google Play and a 3.8 on Apple’s App Store.  If you have a Powerwall, you can also customize how it operates. I did not test the app.
