Then in 2019, there was a disagreement over marking and he submitted a complaint to the external examiner about the school which Mr Headley felt then affected how he was treated afterwards, the hearing was told.

There is no doubt that the club’s production of youth talent has suffered as a result of their attempts at building a Champions League-winning team at the expense of a long-term project.
The ultras themselves have bemoaned as much this season.

A statement released by the regulator on Friday said: “We consider the volume and potentially serious nature of the issues raised within such a short period to be of great concern – especially given RT’s compliance history, which has seen the channel fined £200,000 for previous due impartiality breaches.

Ofcom said the decision to suspend the licence came amid ongoing investigations into RT’s news and current affairs coverage of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, with Prime Minister Boris Johnson also having previously called for an Ofcom review.

In 2013, he wrote a book called ‘Scattered not Lost’ where the premise of the book was that the true ‘Children of Israel’ were black Africans who were then enslaved forming Black Diaspora throughout the world.

It also found that Mr Headley was ‘evasive’ at the tribunal about whether he actually believed the earth was flat, instead he ‘simply acknowledged’ the weight of scientific evidence pointing against that conclusion.

He had initially vowed to stay put in Kyiv despite the constant blaring of air raid sirens and attacks on residential buildings, but decided to leave after hearing reports of Russian soldiers ‘raping’ Ukrainian women.

The media watchdog went on: “We take seriously the importance, in our democratic society, of a broadcaster’s right to freedom of expression and the audience’s right to receive information and ideas without undue interference.

The 40-year-old Tatarsky, whose real name was Maxim Fomin, was accorded military honours including a gun salute and an army band at the funeral at Moscow’s Troyekurovskoye cemetery due to his past participation in military operations in eastern Ukraine alongside Moscow-backed separatists battling Kyiv’s forces.

Prigozhin is also known for his sharp criticism of Russia’s top brass over their performance in Ukraine. The Wagner group has been spearheading efforts in recent months to capture the city of Bakhmut in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region.

Such has been PSG’s direction since being bought by the Qataris over a decade ago, Ligue 1 has turned into something of a procession – certainly nothing for supporters or players alike to be enthused about.

‘But when you put in too many players who all need their place and to be number one, there can be confusion. In the end, when you play, it’s 11 players with one ball. There was a penalty, and who takes it? It’s not even a coach’s decision.’

In a statement, she said: “Ofcom has shown the UK public, and the regulatory community internationally, that, despite a well-constructed facade of independence, it is nothing more than a tool of government, bending to its media-suppressing will.

“Vladlen has proven that today the front line passes everywhere: in the zone of military action, in the rear, and in cities, hearts and minds,” said Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on the Telegram messaging app, noting he had died “in the centre of peaceful St Petersburg at terrorists’ hands”.

MOSCOW, April 8 (Reuters) – Hundreds of mourners, including the leader of Russia’s Wagner private militia group, attended the funeral on Saturday of pro-war blogger Vladlen Tatarsky, who was killed on April 2 in a cafe bomb blast that Moscow has blamed on Ukraine.

Ligue 1 is by no means wrapped up, particularly with a home clash against second-placed Lens to come on April 15, though the apathy that has set in post-European exit begs the question: does anyone really care?

Dismissing his claims, Employment Judge John Crosfill concluded: ‘The school was entitled to conclude that its own interests in promoting pluralism and the welfare of its students were a sufficient reason for restricting [Mr Headley’s] rights to manifest his religious beliefs and/or express his opinions in public in the manner that he did.’

Several students were then interviewed who confirmed that Mr Headley had been discussing flat earth theory and whether the moon landings were faked but that he had asked for these chats to be ‘confidential’, a panel heard.

Ofcom said it noted new laws in Russia which “effectively criminalise any independent journalism that departs from the Russian state’s own news narrative”, particularly in relation to the invasion of Ukraine.

“By ignoring RT’s completely clean record of four consecutive years and stating purely political reasons tied directly to the situation in Ukraine and yet completely unassociated to RT’s operations, structure, management or editorial output, Ofcom has falsely judged RT to not be ‘fit and proper’ and cost of sylvan tutoring in doing so robbed the UK public of access to information.”
